Manistee River Trail

Join Wild Big Camp for a two-night backpacking adventure on the Manistee River Trail, happening Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon. We’ll hike and camp along one of Michigan’s most scenic routes, carrying everything we need to live outdoors—including tents, sleeping bags, food, and portable stoves (bring your own gear). WBC will provide transportation to the trailhead and hook you up with a capsule bag featuring a tee, bandana, stickers, and more. This trip is for those ready to unplug, push themselves, and experience the wild on a deeper level.
This summer, Wild Big Camp is heading north for BIG CAMP, a 10-day adventure across Michigan’s breathtaking Upper Peninsula, happening July 25 – August 3. We’ll explore the best of the U.P., from Porcupine Mountains and Pictured Rocks to Tahquamenon Falls and Kitch-iti-kipi, with epic excursions like guided hikes, tubing, and more along the way. All meals and shelter are included—you just need to bring your sleeping bag, sleeping pad, clothes, and personal items. If you’re ready for waterfalls, wilderness, and nonstop wonder, this is the trip you’ve been waiting for.
